Description:
The Reel Afghanistan Film Festival, ran at the end of February, and was a celebration of Afghan culture and arts. The festival featured over 16 films, most of which were created by Afghan film directors. In addition there were multiple talks, photography exhibitions and several music concerts featuring Afghan musicians flown over for the event.
The film festival website was built using the Word Press content publishing system and allowed the festival organisers complete control over all aspects of the website, in addition to a heavily utilised mailing list to assist them in marketing the event.
