Pixelapes Environmental Policy

Pixelapes feel that it is important for every company to monitor their impact on the environment and as a result have a number of policies in place to minimise our use of resources or environmental footprint.

Recycling

Pixelapes ensure that where possible all waste is recycled. A local recycling service provided by Mulleady’s in Longford, takes care of the majority of our recyclables. Anything that is outside their remit is stored until it can be transported to a recycling facility.

Organic waste is all composted.

Printing

On-site printing is kept to an absolute minimum, as we prefer to use digital copies where-ever possible. If anyone ever requests items to be faxed or posted, we ask if we can send a digital copy, signing forms and letters digitally and sending a PDF.

Our preferred printing company, Carrick Print, is mindful of environmental repercussions, and has policies in place to reduce and recycle waste, ensure use of recycled paper, and any chemical waste is collected on-site and sent for recycling.

Power Usage

Pixelapes have implemented strict power policies on all desktop and laptop computers to ensure that monitors and hard disk drives are switched off after a short period of inactivity.
